During my internship at Touch The World, I was tasked with designing a brand style guide, in Adobe InDesign, outlining how the organization uses their logos, colors and fonts, how they want and do not want their voice to be heard and how they use social media to promote themselves.
For this project, I had to make a tour campaign out of a series of photo montage compositions for an artist or band that consisted of a vinyl album cover, billboard, ticket to the concert and poster. For the vinyl cover, I wanted to create a realistic image while at the same time making look like something someone would see in their dreams.
For this project, I had to make a type specimen pamphlet to promote a typeface of my choosing. I picked a typeface that I liked and that was unique and decided to go with a sort of comic book theme as I felt it was fitting for the typeface.
This is a series of abstract cards that could be used for a special event or holiday. I decided to make the cards abstract so that I could challenge myself in trying to avoid symmetry or any clear representation of an object or specific thing in the compositions while still communicating a message.
This is a book cover that is strictly typographic. It was difficult to only use typography for the book that I chose so I found a way around it by making a design and masking it with text so that it would still be considered typography.
